Melanie & Jeff // Edmonton River Valley

These were taken the day after my last rainy day engagement session. We had nothing but sunshine this evening, I even had to take my coat off. This session was from back in Sept and even though these were taken right in Edmonton’s beautiful river valley, it was hard to find trees with fall colours. We made do though, and I even made them sit in front of a shrub with fall colours, ha! I really can’t wait for Melanie and Jeff’s summer wedding, it’s going to be so beautiful!

Just a few photos from our Christmas holidays…

The boys made a fort to sleep in the day before Christmas eve:

Rachel & Tyler Engagements // University of Alberta

It was a really wet and rainy evening, so we decided to do indoor shots. What better place than the UofA? I love it there, inside and out. It stopped raining enough at the end so we could step outside for a few shots, and I’m so glad becuase the trees are just so beautiful. Rachel and Tyler are one of those couples that are so easy to photograph. When a couple can’t stop cuddling and smooching it makes my job easier! Can’t wait for your June wedding! The only June wedding I’m doing this year since thanks to baby Rice!

Stacey & Patrick

Stacey and Patrick were married on a beautifully warm fall day in September. I was able to photograph their ceremony and their formals. The ceremony was held in a country church, the Malmo Mission Covenant Church. You could tell how much their church meant to them, and it was such a touching and beautiful ceremony. We went to Stacey’s parents farm for formals after the ceremony. I love family farms! They are one of my favourite places to take pictures. I love to take pictures of the couple in  places that mean something special to them. Also, you might be able to tell how much I love that it is a chicken farm.

Noelle & Phil

Is this where I get to gush about what great people my couples are? Phil and Noelle are really some of the kindest people I have ever photographed. It was such a great day.

They were married in the beautiful St. Vital Catholic Church  in Beaumont. The reception was held at the Nisku Inn. A big thanks to Jessica Handjiev for second shooting for me!

Noelle got ready at her parents house, and it was so beautiful! I loved all of their furniture so much, ha!

I don’t think I’ve ever seen so much excitement  surrounding a bride getting her dress on. It was wonderful!

There was a lot of emotion with Noelle’s Dad seeing her in her wedding dress.

Noelle is so beautiful! I loved her dress so much!

Love these grooms men shots that Jessica took…

We took formals at Noelle’s grandparents farm. It was perfect!

Noelle’s eyes! So beautiful!
