Karissa and Greg were married in the beautiful Edmonton LDS Temple at the end of March. The weather was perfect, though there was mud everywhere! But we made do and were able to get some lovely photos. They wanted me to photograph some formals for them (I do have a formals package!) which was great for me since being 8 months pregnant I wouldn’t have been able to shoot all day. They chose to do a first look in front of the temple and it was so cute to see Greg’s reaction. They are so sweet together! They were so easy to work with. And Karissa! I can’t get over how gorgeous she is! Thank you so much for having me as a small part of your day!
Oh these guys! Look at what a beautiful couple they are! And Paige, So gorgeous! I loved their outfit choices, much more stylish than I am. We managed to get some lovely pictures even though muddy Edmonton in the spring isn’t exactly beautiful. Looking forward to their beautiful wedding at the end of June.

Remember that one time when I said I was specializing in Wedding photography and not doing kids or families anymore? Well I can certainly make an exception when the kids are my own niece and nephew. These guys have been on the blog before. They are my sister’s babies, Olive and Thomas. Thomas needed his 6 month photos done (okay he’s 7 months in these). I love this age for photos, and Thomas has the cutest little face. Cheeks! I eat him! And Olive! I cannot believe how much she changes every time I take pictures of her. She is the same age as my little Benton but he just seems to stay the same to me. I love these little people so much!

I recently went through my hard drive and had a little trip down memory lane. I can’t believe I have been photographing weddings since 2008! I know it’s cliche, and every photographer says this, but I love my job so much. I couldn’t think of a job I could love more, well besides being a Mom of course ;) I have been blessed with the best couples that make my job so easy! I just wanted to share a few of my favorites from the past few years, since 2010. I have another hard-drive that I don’t have access to right now, so I’ll have to do a part two later, because I have more past weddings I would love to share.
Also if you want to see more of my past weddings be sure to check out my old blog www.ricephotography.blogspot.com

I love these guys! They are seriously the cutest. They reminded me of my husband and I when we were young and engaged. Except for the fact that Karissa is like 100 times more beautiful than I ever was! I was so excited for the beautiful falling snow and the mild temperatures, mild for January in Edmonton Anywyas. After hanging out outside for a while we headed for Starbucks for apple ciders… my new addiction! Thanks Karissa and Greg!
